The course comprehensively synthesizes the archaeology of the Land of Israel from the Neolithic period (8th millennium BCE) to the end of the Iron Age (6th century BCE). In addition to presentation of material culture, settlement patterns, social, political and economic structure of the ancient societies living at the land in each period, broad cultural changes and processes will be analyzed and discussed.
