Course description
The course will focus on basic theoretical concepts in culture research: structuralism and its critiques, semiotics, model and repertoire, field and habitus, and more. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the conceptual and theoretical foundations of culture research in order to prepare them to the advanced courses in the program, and as a basis for future research.
