Course description
Fiction, especially the novel, the novella and the short story, will be part of the course extensive discussion which will focus on its historical development, its position in relation to other genres in modern Arabic literature, mainstream, artists and the most prominent works and writers. Discussion will accompany the reading and analysis chapters from novels and novellas and intact stories, while highlighting the stylistic and linguistic characteristics, uniqueness of the works and their contribution to the development of the genre.
