Course description
In this course we will deal with a critical discussion of democracy as a form of government. The course will discuss several issues, such as the distinction between procedural democracy and substantive (or material) democracy, democracy and ochlocracy, the rule of the majority versus the tyranny of the majority, tolerance, the right to refuse in democracy, etc.
