Course description
In this seminar we will examine Kant's philosophy of mind and its relation to current relevant discussions in the philosophy of mind. The concept of mind is central to Kant's critical theory. His views regarding the variety of topics related to this philosophical area apparently shaped his philosophy. In the seminar we will examine Kant's views regarding intentionality and mental content, consciousness and self-consciousness, the unity of consciousness, the mind-body problem, moral psychology, and related topics.
