Course description
The seminar will focus on reading and discussing central texts of Romanticism and German Idealism. We will read from Kant, Schiller, Goethe, Hölderlin, Kleist, Friedrich Schlegel, Hegel and Schelling. Among the themes we will discuss: What is a fragment? Art and the system, automatism and life, art and destiny, art and myth
