Description of the course:
The course is designed to introduce to the students, the social and cultural characteristics of the Arab-Muslim family in Israel. The course will examine the perspectives family cultural and religious. The course will discuss the hierarchical structure of the Arab family and the changes occurred in it under the specific existence circumstances of the State of Israel, and the Israeli environment impact on the family and the Arab-Muslim children. The course will also discuss modern processes, social, cultural and political taking place in the Arab-Muslim society since the founding of the state, and the trends and directions of development continued this society. In addition, the course will analyze the hardships, difficulties and challenges facing the Arab-Muslim family in Israel, and the ways in which the Muslim family deals with these challenges.
