The course will give the students the understanding of the theoretical principles of scientific research, specifically of Political science, together with the ability to reflect those principles and to establish techniques to conduct a social research. The course themes will include discussion in theory and research, the nature of causation, research designs, conceptualization and measurement, operationalization, the logic of sampling, modes of observation and data processing.
