Course description
The course is built upon two sets of questions: 1.How did the internet as a human space transform sex, gender, identity and subjectivity, and 2. What is liquid modernity (Zigmunt Bauman) and its application to life online. The course will present a hypothesis that is concerned with pornography online: not unlike a long list of industries such as travel, journalism, printed books, photography, investing, pornography too is being profoundly restructured and reinvented in cyberspace.
