Course description
The course provides the student in archaeology and archaeomaterials with the basic knowledge of highly specialized scientific methods in microarchaeology. The students will be exposed to some of the more common scientific methods of microarchaeology, study their function and theoretical background and experience them through a series of guided laboratories in the fields of optical mineralogy, micromorphology, petrography and other analytical methods.
