Short Course Description

The destruction of the first temple in Jerusalem and the Babylonian exile were a great disaster in the history of the Judah and the Judeans. What really happened during this gloomy and fateful period and how did new opportunities rise from the ashes?

The course traces the history of the period and is offered through the Coursera platform.

The course has six lessons to watch. The videos are in English and are accompanied by Hebrew subtitles.

The final grade is composed of a final exam in class (90%) and online quizzes in the course website (10%). All quizzes must be completed before the date of the final exam.
