Introduction to Jewish Law and Islamic Law - Dr. Levi Cooper, Adv. Riad Abo Full
The Islamic Law part of the course will provide general knowledge regarding the Islamic Shari'a (Islamic law) in the legal aspect, its development, its sources (the Quran, the Sunnah, Al-Ijmaa, Al-Qiyas, etc.); its absorption and its practical implementation in Israel and the effects of its legislation starting prior to the establishment of the State of Israel. The composition and powers of the Sharia courts and the laws applied therein (Including the laws of marriage and divorce, alimony, custody and order of sight, wills, heirs, waqf). We will look on relevant rulings of the general courts.
