Course description

Cooperative Societies Law

This course is dedicated to one sort of incorporated entity - the Cooperative Society [CS], and aims to equip the students with fundamental concepts, implement influences external to law (Economics, Culture) over CS, and discuss relevant current implications. The student will be handed over a tool-kit of knowledge and understanding of this field of law. It seems to laymen onlookers as quite narrow, but actually demands wide interfacing with many other fields of law (Constitutional and Administrative, Commercial and Bankruptcy, Etc.), as well as external fields as mentioned above.

From Administrative law point of view, the CS and their members are subject to the regulator more than to the courts, ensuing inevitable costs imposed by this setup over their right to access to courts.
