Course description
The course will discuss basic issues in diagnosis and psychopathology, highlighting dilemmas associated with the tension between normal and pathological. Classification methods will be reviewed with reference to the major advantages and disadvantages of each approach. The focus will be on several key clinical phenomena and diagnoses such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and personality disorders.
