Course description

Introduction to Developmental psychology: introduction to developmental processes, mainly in infancy, childhood and adolescence. We’ll review the field’s place in the history of psychology's classic debate - nature vs. nurture, and the developmental aspect of major personality and intellect theories, such as Freud and Piaget. Prominent theorists in the field will be presented (Erikson, Bowlby etc.) and their key concepts. In addition, we’ll review relevant research findings and the theories they’re anchored in.
