The course presents the positivistic perspective of the modern political economy for understanding political procedures and outcomes in democratic arrangements. This approach relies on the assumptions of “rational choice” theory. In addition, the following subjects will be covered: social choice theory, game theory for 2 and more players, heresthetic, elections and voters strategy, median voter theory, political bargaining, collective action, etc.
