Course description

The course seeks to present the students architectural archives of leading architects. That is while examining and cataloging specific archive. To that end, the course will examine the content of an archive. How should we catalogue a collection, how should we prioritize among the various items in a collection, how can an architectural collection transform into an exhibition, and how should we make a catalogue of works from a specific collection.

The first part of the course will concentrate on the question archiving, in general. Then, we will delve into learning a specific collection – in this course the one of Arieh Sharon.

The course will take place at the Azrieli Architectural Archive, Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
