Course description

The scope of the course is to clarify the components of the planning system and to define the interdependence of its diverse elements. The students are provided with the tools and the ability of comprehensive and multi- disciplinary urban planning. The discussion deals with issues such as culture, social organization, political and economic forces, physical and technological aspects. Students’ assignments include research, data analysis, the creation of scenarios and the proposal of planning solutions. Most of the work is done in teams.

The course is designated for forth year students of Architecture.
