- Acoustic characteristics and parameters and their influence on human ear
- Sound sources and propagation of sound in air
- Acoustic absorption and insulation, properties of materials
- Regulations, standards and building code regarding acoustics
- Acoustic of spaces (lecture halls, theaters, concert halls etc.)
- Building materials (walls, ceilings, doors and windows, silencers etc.)
- Acoustical treatment of noise sources (air-conditioning, compressors, generators etc.)
- Traffic noise and ways of reducing the exposure to high noise levels
- Noise measurements equipment.
