The Studio will endeavor to disperse the smoke screen hiding the fact that Urbanism (or "City") is a simple concept and its translation into a 3D reality is also fairly simple. The studio will be based on an Urban Theory: "Intimate Anonymity" and will show how one can move effectively from Theory to Practice. We will deal with urban projects focusing on an urban environment with typical characteristics of Israeli urban reality, issues of housing prices and availability raised during the 2011 social uprising will be discussed and possible solutions in the field of urban planning will be seeked. We will aim to reach Urban Design scale of (1:200 – 1:500).
