Architects of the 21st century are challenged to find equilibrium between developing good living spaces, maintaining a sustainable healthy environment, and on top of that preserving enough natural resources for future generations. Achieving that goal requires integration of knowledge from multiple disciplines and adopting new design approaches.
In this course we will meet fundamental issues of 'green' architecture and learn some practical ways to design with minimum negative environmental effects. During the course students will learn both theoretical concepts and practical applications of green architecture.
