Course description

The course will issue foremost images of the modern city, the future city and the Israeli city as presented by architects and artists, and survey essential creative concepts of the urban life, the urban landscape and the urban future perspectives. The sessions will issue a wide variety of readings: architectural projects and ideas, manifests, articles, fiction, science fiction and poetry, plastic art, comics and movies. Accordingly, we will follow essential questions in the urban being, and question the role of architects in urban creation and urban critique.
