Course description

Documentation is the process of identification and recording of all relevant physical, historical and functional information about cultural heritage assets with a view of formulating an appropriate strategy for its conservation and management. Documentation is an integral part of the listing, protection and management of Historic buildings and sites.

The course will explore theoretical and practical aspects of research and documentation methods, in order to provide students with the tools and skills to prepare Documentation according to the standards required in Israel

The course is conducted in classroom. The exercise will be an implementation of a Documentation process on a topic that will be presented at the beginning of the semester. The tutoring sessions will be dedicated to training and task inspection.
