The course will teach the development of dress patterns throughout most prominent historical periods, from ancient Greece, Elizabethan era to the early 20th century.
The course consists of a theoretical section, where we will learn and investigate the matter visual works of art, and practical section, when we will learn to understand cut, materials and actually examine the theoretical material learned.
Students will be given homework, when it will be possible to split into pairs and work on research and model-making in team.
The purpose of the course is to learn the different periodic patterns and experience in building real material model.
