Why is it that we love stories so much? We keep looking for stories, keep inventing them both as story tellers and audience. In what way do stories reflect our understanding of the world around us? What needs do stories fulfill? Why do we enjoy sitting in the cinema, or in front of the TV, experiencing different realities? When do stories “work” and why? What is Narrative and what are the tools we utilizes?

Creating a story in TV and Film is a collaboration of words, compositions, editing, acting and so much more.

Through film, tv, comics and the written words we’ll see how narrative impacts us, and how it constantly evolves in the works of directors.
