1st semester -
The course will examine the piano literature of the Classical period. We shall examine and discuss the evolution of the Piano throughout the works of Bach's sons, Haydn and Mozart and evaluate the developments of various genres specifically written for the Piano.
2nd semester -
Piano music by Ludwig van Beethoven
The course provides an overview of the chronological development of piano music by Beethoven.
