The course will provide tools to improve the ear training ability in general and the ability of “internal hearing” skills; developing the musical memory skills; for tonal and a-tonal music, melodically and harmonically. All of the above will be implemented through singing, recognition and writing of scales, modes, all types of chords; such as triads, seventh chords and their inversions and chords built on intervals of fourths and fifths and clusters of 3-5 notes.
In addition the course will focus on developing sight singing skills {prima vista}, the ability to rapidly react to singing from a given piece of music in a tonal and a-tonal framework, with emphasis on rhythmic precision and on intonation.
