The aim of this course is to present a range of research tools available today for the student and scholar interested in Medieval art: academic and private data-bases, computer programs and main internet sites. Special attention will be paid to building bibliographies, visual material and relevant textual sources. In addition, the pros and cons of the digital in comparison to more traditional research tools will be discussed.
