The course is a designated forum for MFA students in the actor-creator-researcher track, at the beginning or in the midst of theoretical and applied research, in preparation for an independent practical project. The forum will include discussions and readings related to key notions aimed at establishing or expanding the attitude of performance as research, as well as models of devised theatre and performance; detailed presentation of the structure of a proposal, intended to lead to a full draft; and for this purpose, the practice of preparing a research file, as well as participants’ presentations, examples and meetings related to the creative processes.
