In the last few decades we have witnessed ongoing intellectual efforts invested in relocating Beckett on the twentieth-century intellectual and cultural horizons. One direction of research concerns Beckett's dialog with the visual arts. This dialog will be the focal point of discussion in the seminar in order to extract Beckett's aesthetic thinking in particular and to examine the complex relations between the verbal and the visual in the arts in general.
