This course is attached to the introduction course "The History of Medieval and Renaissance Theatre". Its main aim is to provide students with learning skills to read and analyze plays in their socio-political and cultural contexts as well as through their performative and theatrical perspective. We will also read and discuss articles that were written on the drama and the theatre of the period, while practicing reading skills of academic research and writing.
