The exercise accompanies the introduction course "History of the Theatre: Greece and Rome". The aim of the exercise is to lead the students towards acquiring learning skills and individual acquaintance with the Greek and Roman tragedies and comedies, to analyze the plays in their socio-political and cultural context as well as through their performative and theatrical perspective. We will also read and discuss articles that were written on these issues and practice academic research and writing.
