The course presents community-based theatre as a distinctive social applied theatre, activist-therapeutic, with its own ideology and practice. The course investigates the characteristics of community-based theatre and applied theatre event/s as a socio-political, local theatre that articulates excluded life experiences of the marginalized groups in a given society.
