The course will be based on research into the life and personality of a "real life" human being – chosen freely by each student, the only limitation being that of age – it should be more or less the same as the student's. By research I mean any documentary material available, be it transcripts of conversations, letters, photos, videos, recordings, home-movies etc.

 

The aim of the course is to exercise and develop the ability to research a character, decode her/his motives, inner world, verbal, physical and psychological expression, way of negotiating with the world – and then try to delve into this world and express it in acting.
