The revolutionizing of many orthodox methodologies and weltanshcauungen in the beginning of the twentieth century and since appears as an amazing, almost inconceivable phenomenon. My main purpose here is to introduce briefly and succinctly the conceptual rudiments and main systems enclosed in that still evolving intellectual evolution, centralizing on Saussurian Semiology and Structuralism.
