The city and urban life have always been an important theme of artistic work and expression. In recent years, they have become a central and heated subject in contemporary cultural and artistic discourse.

The seminar will present a myriad of lectures featuring the city and urban life as it appears in diverse artistic mediums, time periods, and approaches. The lectures will be delivered by the academic staff of the Faculty of the Arts and guest lecturers – each presenting his or her unique research and perspective.
