Course description
The course will present a broad view of school achievements evaluation, both theoretically and practically. During the course of studies, students will become familiar with central issues of school evaluation, will develop a critical approach towards the existing school evaluation system and will become familiar with basic terminology, principles and issues in the field of pupils’ assessment. There will be an exposure to traditional as well as alternative assessment processes; this will be done through focusing on the high school learner’s evaluation and on the development of assessment tools in reference to discretion and in accordance with the teaching units in the various content domains.
