Course description
The main objective of the course is to teach students coping strategies in teaching heterogeneous classes.
The course deals with students with special needs enrolled in regular classrooms.
The focus will be on students with learning disabilities, students that are the largest group of students with special needs integrated into regular frames.
We will discuss the issue of systemic integration concept, and clarify the two concepts "learning disability" and "learning difficulty" using the definitions used by professionals in the area
We will learn about various kinds of disabilities, methods of detection, diagnosis and treatment.
The discussion will take place in educational contexts roles and functional the various stages of development and with regard to heterogeneity and diversity between groups and individuals.
The course will combine lectures character theoretical introduction to approaches and various models and experiences and will include active participation.
