Course description
Planning Project: Planning with Communities – Past, Present, Future.
The planning project focuses on different urban conflictive areas in Tel Aviv Jaffa. In 2016/17 we work on Al Ajami neighborhood in Jaffa. We look at the extent to which planning for urban regeneration in Al Ajami takes into consideration the needs and knowledge of the current Arab residents of the neighborhood and to what extent current policies of neo-liberalization affect the regeneration of the area.
