Death and Immortality in Vedic Literature This course will focus on one of the major topics of Vedic literature, as well as of human culture in general, human destiny at death. By studying Vedic, Brāhmaṇic and Upaniṣadic conceptions of death and immortality, the course will promote a deeper understanding of some of the basic notions and ideas of ancient Indian culture.
