Course description
In this course, we will explore the various ways in which eco-criticism emerges in Hebrew literature in recent years. Attuned to the rhetoric through which Israeli discourse engaged issues of biopolitics, animal rights and sustainability in an age of globalization, we will seek to understand if and how a group of writers and intellectuals can redefined the ethics of modern literature.
