Following the failure of widely accepted rhetoric of reconciliation, acknowledgement, forgiveness and conflict resolution, the course aims at studying different, possibly alternative, rhetorical uses in literary, cinematic, pictorial, photographic and visual texts targeted at similar results: enabling stable life of collectivity, but investigating rather a variety of different solutions forming around a variety of other modes of dialogue or contacts, as well as forms of reconciliation based on separation, disengagement, and retribution.
