Course description
Fascism, World War 2, and the Holocaust in Jewish Italian Literature

The course is a study of the literature on the Fascist period, its atrocities and fascinations, and the cultures of resistance to it. It will deal with writers from Malaparte and Pasolini to Natalia Ginzburg and Erri De Luca, with a special part dedicated to Primo Levi.
