Course description
The age known as "Early Modern Era" (1550's to 1850's) was one of revolutionary changes almost in any area: scientific and geographic discoveries, political and social changes, populations' displacements, the invention of print which was followed by the "knowledge explosion" etc. These changes found their ways into the contemporary Hebrew literature in which this course will focus on. Among other, we'll dill with questions about the links between social, historical and technological processes and poetic issues.
