Course description
Exercise in Reading and Writing Skills
During this workshop we will acquire writing skills relevant to research in the Humanities and specifically in the field of literature. Through guided practice, we will develop and enrich the toolbox of writing and reading. We will focus on critical reading of theoretical texts (identifying assumptions, structure and writing style), and go through the different stages of the writing process (merging sources, developing arguments, implementing forms of citation and references etc.). The workshop will be based on short reading and writing exercises that will lead to a final paper.
