The Jewish Immigration to Palestine, 1881-1947
The Jewish immigration to Palestine during the last third of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century created the foundations to the establishment of Israel. The five immigration waves will be discus during the course – as well as the non legal immigration (Ha’apala) – their characteristics, uniqueness and contribution to the construction and designing of the new Zionist Yishuv.
