Course description

Beginners Latin 
Learning Latin makes it possible to read sources written over two millennia, thus affording a key for understanding Western languages and cultures. This course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of the morphology and syntax of Classical Latin, with an emphasis on reading short prose passages. 
Students’ duties: 
- Active attendance and participation 
- Completion of homework assignments 
- Short written tests 
- Mid-year written test 
- Final written test
