Course description
The course prepares students to present their ideas in the form of academic writing. We will develop an understanding of what such writing involves through reading and writing academic prose. The topic in focus is Ekphrasis, namely the description of Visual Arts in prose and poetry. The course is annual, meeting once every two weeks.
Course requirements: Full and active participation, reading and writing assignments, a final paper in the end of every semester.
