Course description
The course will deal with issues concerning Muslim women who live in the West (Islamic feminism, female attire, family law, FGM, and more), and will refer to certain aspects which deal with Muslim women living in Islamic countries. While focusing on contemporary questions, special emphasis will put on the basic sources of classical Islam (Qur'an, Hadith).
