The history of work has been radically transformed in the past thirty years. It now deals not only with organized workers and labor movements, but in a broad spectrum of forms of work – at home and in the fields, free und unfree – and in the experience of workers – women, men and children. The seminar would offer an introduction into the field through reading recent research literature.
